Okay, now I'm gonna have to glom the Robb books. Those paragraphs are gorgeous.

BTW, Karen, I read Bone Deep on your rec and absolutely loved it. Her writing is so spare, yet so emotive. The story is haunting me!

I'm going to admit it. I've never read a Nora. *ducks* I know, I know. I love her, what she does for the industry, how she speaks for writers-all of it. But I've never picked up one.

You realize it is illegal to leave a bookstore without a Nora Roberts or J.D. Robb book, right? You're in big trouble. And. You can't use "Couldn't find one." as an excuse because half the books in the store (B&N, Your local CVS, ANY store) are by Nora Roberts.

If you are in a mischevious mood, go up to the book store clerk and say, "Christ man! Where the hell are the books by Nora Roberts? I have been up and down every single row of books in the store. Are you out of stock? I want these ..." Have a print out of the full title list under all pseudonyms handy and have him check that each and every single one of those suckers is in stock.

I'm not admitting that I did this, mind you, but it kills a few hours while your teenager shops.

Hmm...the JD Robb series is great, esp. to see the growth of their love and relationship. I'm re-reading all of them at the moment, and I'm half way through. *sigh* Anyone know where a real life Roarke might be?

My fave? I think maybe Montana Sky. But it's sooo hard to choose. I might have to say that the Cirle Trilogy is the better out of all the trilogies... sometimes the middle or last book seems to lose umph, or complexity, but I don't think they did in this one.

Eva- my fave Nora ever… the Heart of Devin MacKade. *sigh* And then there’s the Chesapeake Bay series, the Key trilogy, Three Sisters Island series, the Dream series, Concannon sisters… I could go on, but that’s a good start *G*
