I’ll be annoyed if either Melinda, Lakisha, or Jordin get voted out before he does. Those people at Votefortheworst need a good seeing to. Hmmpphh.

Oh my God, Karen. I so love you. I’m so glad you aren’t one of those icky screaming fucktard fangirls of the freak. Every time I see him sing, my eye starts to twitch. One of these times I am going to stab myself in that eye just so it stops! For the love of God… MAKE IT STOP! LOL

Yay! Another sane person! I’ve stopped watching cuz seriously it’s pissing me off. Howard Stern is encouraging his fucktard listeners to vote for the dumbass too. It’s not like I thought Gina was going anywhere but damn, I’d be pissed if I got voted off before him.

Lol, he’s the reincarnation of Corey Clarke. I’d care more about his staying on the show if I don’t find this season ho-hum. Maybe I’m just overdosed on AI at the moment, but I’m not even digging on LaKisha as much as I’d expect.

I happened to be listening to a radio morning show the other day and they were asking listeners who the hell is voting for this guy. Some of the callers were saying that he has a huge pre-teen following. That shit is just scary. Since I usually record it I just fast forward through him, I just can’t watch.

I admit it. I like this kid. Why? There has never been so awesomely bad a performer since William Huang and you know what? I find him entertaining. Besides, I take an evil glee in watching the reactions of others each week when he makes it to the next round and the judges reactions to him are classic! Yeah, I have my evil moments but I’m okay with that. He won’t make it past the final four. Personally I think the final two will be Melinda and Beatbox Blake. I look forward to their performances. Jordin is a wildcard for me, I think she has a great voice, but some weeks, I like her and other weeks, not as much. I’m not as crazy about LaKisha as everyone one else though. Can you tell I’m an Idol junkie?

I dont’ watch AI. Never have. But I have to admit a morbid curiousity about Sanjay…some lady supposedly went on a hunger strike until he was booted off. (this makes me think some people need a life…seriously).

I keep thinking I might check it out just to see how awful he is, but even my morbid curiousity isn’t enough indeucement.

the hubby watches this show with my daughter (its their ‘bonding’ time)… He was grousing how she defends Sanjaya.. I explained that at her age, I loved Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett and Donny Osmond.. Lets face it, Sanjaya is the Leif Garrett of today, lots of hair, thin voice but oh so appealing to the tweeny crowd..

I watched a couple episodes of the first season and that was enough for me. I’m kinda tempted to see if this kid is as bad as so many people are saying, though. Could he be any worse than most of the current crop of pop stars in America? Isn’t the only criterion for being a star these days is to be somewhat attractive? In pictures the kid looks attractive enough in a gender-bender kind of way. True talent seems to be passe. Why shouldn’t he win?

I don’t watch AI but my 14 year old daughter is hooked on the show and she’s just disgusted that Sanjaya is still there…she keeps asking “who are the idiots who keep voting for him?” ROFL

There are websites devoted to making Sanjaya the next idol, and as one of the previous posters said, Howard Stern is urging his legion of maladjusted adolescents to vote for him. Their goal is to make a mockery of the whole thing and destroy the show. And many 8-13 year old girls think he is too cute. The thing is, it’s not just a singing competition like Simon says, but it is also a popularity contest. The results should be interesting, especiall if 19 Entertainment is saddled with an unpromotable winner.
