When Words Aren’t Enough…

My heart goes out to Jennifer Hudson and the rest of her family.

Hanging isn’t good enough for the perpetrator of this heinous crime.

Mother, brother, and probably her little nephew.

Totally heart-breaking.

  • 🙁 I didn’t know anything about this. I rarely watch the news. How awful.

  • My thoughts have been with them since I heard about this on Friday.

  • You’re right, “heartbreaking” sums it up.

Typically I’m not very optimistic when a child goes missing in this type of situation, but I had really really hoped the boy was okay. (speaking of, Karen, has the Caylee Anthony story made it to the UK?)

Not that this would be any less sad if it had happened to someone not famous, but this sort of brings home the reality that tragedy can strike anyone.

Kayleigh, the Caylee Anthony case hasn’t reached England, but TTG and I heard lots about it whilst we were in the US. Very sad case.

Do you think the mother killed her?

  • It was in the news today that they’ve found the body of a small boy who they believe to be the nephew. But identification isn’t official. The whole thing is just heartbreaking.

Vanessa, it’s been confirmed that the little boy was found dead: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20081027/ten-child-s-body-is-hudson-s-nephew-ea4616c.html

🙁 I had really, really hoped that they would find him in time, especially since they sent out an Amber Alert right away.

This whole thing is such a tragedy. I can’t imagine losing this many family members in such a short period of time. My heart goes out to Jennifer and the rest of her family.

  • Karen,

Oh, yeah! I forgot you were down here. Orlando is the epicenter of the whole story, it’s big news there, and here in other parts of Florida as well.

Yes, I think the mother did it. Maybe it was an accident, something happened when her back was turned and she panicked…regardless, I think she knows exactly what happened to that little girl and just won’t say. What the hell kind of mother doesn’t report her own child missing? Or cooperate with police? Or talk about why evidence of a decomposed body was found in her trunk?

Lleo, the news here is saying there hasn’t been a positive identification yet: http://omg.yahoo.com/news/fbi-says-body-found-is-that-of-hudsons-nephew-7/14640 But they’re pretty sure…

This news was heartbreaking. To think that someone could be that cold-hearted to kill almost an entire family. This world has gone mad. My prayers go out to Jennifer and her sister. They will need the support of each other and their other family members & friends because I can’t grasp my mind around it and can’t even imagine how they feel.

  • I’ll never understand why any asshole would murder someone, let alone an innocent child.

  • This broke my heart. I’ve been grieving the loss of my own mom, who was aged and ill. Then I saw this, and realized that this young lady must be bearing a load that is, well, impossible to carry. I hope she is surrounded by a lot of good people now. And I hope the freaking rags leave her alone. God bless her and hers.

Aw, I’m glad there’s still hope, then. 🙂
