Can’t believe it took seven seasons before I discovered how fantastic this show is!

Karen, I’m a big Medium fan. I even cried a little when it went off the air. The cases are good, but what really drew me in was the family dynamic. I love Allison and Joe.

I notice you’re commenting more on TV. You’re the one who has me seeking out Luther. Not that I mind. I’ll watch anything Idris Elba stars in. Thanks for the rec!

  • Good thing about discovering it now is that you don’t have to wait 7 years to see how it will end! I love when I find a great series that has alot of seasons under it’s belt. I know it’s good and I can glom many episodes in one sitting!

  • I loved Medium and never missed an episode. That said, the ending is so horrible it completely colored my feelings on the show in general. Without giving you any spoilers, the writers disregarded much of the mythology they’d built throughout the series. I’ve never been so disappointed in a finale in my life, and wish I’d stopped watching the show before that episode.

Enjoy the series. I’ve considered going back and viewing it all again (minus the finale) back to back, but I’m still too bitter from the ending. Maybe in another couple years I’ll be able to get there. Yeah, I know, I take my TV shows a little too personally. 😉

We thought the final sucked as well. The DH and I were like WTF? was that? Very disappointing.

Loved this show! One of our favorite things was that the sisters were always fighting and nasty and generally acted just like kids. Plus, great stories.

  • I just finished watching the show after discovering it on Netflix. LOVED it! I even enjoyed the ending (kind of:), so we’ve been on the same wavelength lol! And Luther? Brilliant show. Love the Brits!

  • @Denny, it does seem like we love the same TV shows, and yes, the Brit original TV dramas are usually very well done. I’ll be glad when reality TV goes out of fashion so that they can spend more money on original shows like Luther. There was a show last year that was just excellent called Married, Single Other. It was absolutely fantastic.
