Functioning Once Again…

Yay, I got my va va voom for reading back!! The story that did it was an EC release called Diamond In The Rough by Ruby Storm. This story was actually part of an anthology called Diamond Studs.

I liked this book because the heroine was blind, and the hero was a former fireman who was badly injured and disfigured in a fire. I can’t be arsed doing a full review, but it was really good, so I’ll start on the other books that I purchased that I haven’t been able to read due to my funk!! I’ll try MJ Rose’s, The Halo Effect tonight!

Yay, I feel whole again!! (sorry about the lack of linkage, but honestly, I couldn’t be arsed!)

Hi Karen! Seeing that my book was the highlight of your week became the highlight of my week! I’ve been enjoying your blog immensely and will return frequently! I’m also jealous that you get to live in Yorkshire. It’s one of my fav places in all the world.

    Nice to meetcha, Ann

Hi Ann, wow, you just never know who might be stopping by at any given time!!

I loved Layover, it was just a great read, and one that I couldn’t put down, which is always a good indication of a good book!

I think what I loved most about the story was the fact that Kira was a kick-ass heroine who flew planes, and wasn’t afraid to go after her man!

    Nice to meetcha too!!

Well, after obsessively Googling my name to see what was out there about me or Layover, I found you! And I’m so glad I did. I love your perspective, writing style, and topics. Would comment on the BDSM guy from today but still feel too sick, raw and frightened about his viewpoint.

The fact that you couldn’t put Layover down is the best compliment a writer can get. Hey, if I take a holiday in York within the next couple of years, would you have tea with me at Betty’s? LOL. I’d invite a few other writers too. God. I loved that place.

    Cheers, Ann the Anglophile.

Lol!!! It seems straneg that somebody so far away would know about Betty’s!!

I’m in Harrogate quite often because one of our clients is based there, but I haven’t been to Betty’s since I was 18!!

The next time you’re in Harrogate, give me a bell, and we’ll meet up for sure!!
