Karen: I know you don’t get much snow over there in England and you’re probably not really used to it 😉 but I must say I laughed at your snow 🙂 You haven’t really seen snow until you’ve seen Canadian snow – where it’s up to your knees. And you have to shovel it out of the driveway – and just when you’ve gone in the house the snowplow comes by and fills up the end of your driveway again. And it takes a good 20 minutes to brush it off the car.
Krstie lol! We live on a cobbled street, half-way up the hill, and when it snows it becomes impossible to drive up it! Over here in England, we aren’t equipped for snow at all, and in fact panic over the slightest amount *g*
Dakota, the area is pretty, but when the snow turns to slush, the whole just becomes dark and miserable, I can’t wait for our crappy version of summer, it’s just too cold for me!
I’m with you on the snow thing, K. If I knew I didn’t have to go anywhere in it, and I could just sit in the conservatory and look out at how pretty it was, it would be fabulous.
BTW, I notice you’re listening to Pussy Cat Dolls and Corinne Bailey Rae – what do you think of them. I’m thinking about getting the CDs.
Dawn, I love Corinne Bailey Rae, her voice is just so mellow and soulful, when I ever hear her Put Your Records On song, I just want to stop what I’m doing, relax back and dream of sunny days!
The Pussycat Doll’s album is fab too, very cabaret, but still brilliant, so go and get them both!
I live in the desert in Southern California. When we get snow the world stops. Nobody knows how to cope or *gasp* drive in it. I was born in Montana (lots of snow) and lived in Ohio when I first got married. I’ve seen, shoveled, driven, stood and waited for a bus in the snow. So I’m with Karen on this one…I hate snow.
