Friends-to-lovers stories are my fave plot device. So I’m looking forward to this book.

I don’t particularly like this cover, it feels sterile somehow, the premise calls for something softer methinks. Let’s hope it’s not a reflection of the book. Dee, I’ll be posting the review tomorrow, hopefully. In the mean time, you may want to get some ice-cream in…. you know… just in case things don’t go well *g*

You can read the blurb here.

I hate the cover. It’s awful. Sorry Samhain. Hire Maili or April Martinez or someone!!! Can’t wait to see what you think of this.

I don’t like the cover much either… not really fitting for a romance. Now had there been the H & H sitting at the table gambling… or embracing with the gambling table in the background that would have worked.

I love friends to lovers plots too. I’m gonna have to check this one out. : )

ROFL! And you know, my first thought when I saw it was, OMG, WHERE did he find those incredible poker chips!! (I still use peanuts or jelly bellies, lol!)

Okay, Karen, lol, calling the hubby for ice cream now. 🙂 Whatcha think? Strawberry cheesecake or Hawaiian Surprise?

Jane, having read the story, the cover seems even more vile now!
I agree, April or Maili would have done a much better job!

    Hi Laura!

Anne, the cover would have to be changed entirely for me!

    Dee, Hawaiian Surprise definitely!

I have to ask, what in heaven’s name is …*shudder* Hawaiian Surprise?

Just thinking it doesn’t sound good.

LOL, I’m not sure it’s a flavor. Think Coconut-pineapple. 🙂 Cheesecake is comfort. Hawaiian Surprise is sweet. 🙂

Phew, I’m hoping that means Karen likes it, lol.

I must admit, the poker cards were my idea. 🙂 I have a personal terror of dead Poser characters, lol. Thankfully, Samhain doesn’t actually make use of dead poser characters, but I didn’t know that at the time. 🙂 Off for ice cream!

    Smooches,
    Dee
