Michael J. Fox And Naomi Campbell…

Rumour has it that Michael J Fox, intentionally exaggerated the effects of his Parkinson’s disease on an ad campaign. He was endorsing some bloke who’s running for the US senate. Apparently the ad was talking about the importance of stem cells.

When I heard this on the news today, I went straight to YouTube to watch the ad for myself. Erm…does that make me a sicko?

Anyway, I couldn’t decide whether he was putting his acting skills to good use, or if that’s how he genuinely is these days. Apparently Rush Limbaugh felt that it was exploitative, and manipulative. You can also catch what Limbaugh had to say about the ad campaign at the end of MJF’s little message.

Anyway, like I said, I couldn’t decide, so I’ll let you guys judge for yourselves.

As for NaomI Campbell, she’s either very unlucky , and everybody’s out to get her, or she’s a psychotic ho, who would benefit from doing some time in prison.

Guess which one I’m going for?

As I understand it, Rush Limbaugh made the accusation because MJF had admitted previously to not taking his meds prior to appearing before Congress so they could see his symptoms. Maybe he did that for this ad. I know I saw him on Inside the Actor’s Studio and they had to stop taping at one point because he got very shaky and he had to go take some meds.

Either way, I think Limbaugh just buried himself because mentioning something like that is a lose/lose proposition.

Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with Michael J Fox not taking his meds before doing this commercial. Isn’t it about informing people what Parkinsons does to you? My granddad had Parkinsons so I’m all for research that helps discover a cure.

Naomi Campbell? She needs a damn good slapping (except she’d probably wallop me back). I’m thinking that she’d benefit from some time in a padded cell.

Rush Limbaugh is a primo a$$hole! I’ve seen MJF interviewed many times (and not before congress) and he can be like this. What is the matter with him campainging for something that affects him and so many other?

And as for Naiomi Campbell – she should have locked up years ago and I’m sure would have been if she wasn’t so famous. Hopefully this time she will really get the consequences she’s squeaked out of time and time again.

Michael J. Fox responded to these allegations on CBS with Katie Couric; I saw the clip on YouTube and it was heart breaking to me.

Rush Limbaugh is just a jerk.

You’re right about Naomi Campbell; she’s batshit crazy. LOL

I have to tell you that Michael J. Fox is NOT faking. Rush Limbaugh is a total fucking dickwad and an insensitive bastard. I take this to heart because my dad has Parkinson’s… I’ve also had a great aunt with Parkinson’s and it really does get that bad. It’s a debilitating disease… someone needs to glue Mr. Limbaugh’s big fucking mouth shut because he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.

Can you tell I’m pissed about this???

Parkinson’s is a horrible, degenerative disease that wrecks a person’s ability to function. What’s there to fake?

Limbaugh’s a first class prick for that.

I’ve worked with loads of Parkinson’s patients over the years for prolonged periods of time and those symptoms looked pretty legit to me. He’s had it for awhile, he could have progressed that far by now.

That, or he was experiencing dyskinesia.

In this case, I think it’s all in his eyes. And especially the motor control (or lack thereof) he shows when he lifts his arm.

Its also in the pauses when he talks.

    IMHO he was not acting.

And shame on Rush for suggesting it.

I think it was said that it was the medication itself (themselves?) that caused the shaking, etc, otherwise, without any medication, he would be very rigid and unable to speak.

The very worst part of the disease is that while the person loses control of his or her body, the mind stays as sharp as ever. The person is totally aware of the horror.

Anon – Yep that’s what Fox said (dyskinesia) on Katie Couric, I just saw it on youtube.

So sad the bit about he had his time to be pretty and have his picture on teenage girls walls.

    He was all over mine!!

by the way, thats the old story on naomi, she has since moved on to scratching the face of the anger management counselor that was court ordered for her…. She is out of control…

As for MJF, he has parkinsons. thats no act… He looks like (and said as much later) that he actually took a little too much medicine (which causes the extreme movements) otherwise he likely couldnt have talked at all, as one of the other commenters said…

I used to listen to Rush limbaugh just for the amusement factor, until the day that Bill Clinton became president and Rush began making fun of how Chelsea looked…
She was an 11 year old girl for cripes sake. As though life wasnt hard enough for her. I am a Mom and it just sent me into the red zone…. I boo hiss every time I see him or hear him on the tv..

Limbaugh thinks MJF skipped his meds because everyone knows that drugs make everything all better. And more drugs make you more better – that’s why you should go to several doctors and get drugs from each of them.

I still heart Naomi. She’s just the way I like my divas – beautiful and flat-out crazy.
