I read SB Candy’s review of this book the other day, and immediately went to Amazon, and bought a copy. Used of course.
I started reading it, got to page 108, and stopped. There were 494 pages.
This book was truly criminal, and Candy articulated the worst things about it well enough that I don’t have to, so go read her review.
I’m gonna go and cleanse myself with some industrial-strength bleach now.

I like Cassie Edwards, but I agree that Desire’s Blossom is a horrible read.

If I recall, there’s a famous goldfish scene in some book from the 80s (not Cassie Edwards). Does anyone know the title so I can look it up at borders and read the relevant bits? Page numbers would help. *g*

I have a perverse desire to read this now. I guess that’s what made you go get it, huh?

wendy, I’m not sure. But someone mentioned that it might have even been turned into a TV movie. (I’m assuming the goldfish part was not in the script.) I just can’t remember which blog it was from. Do you think it’s likely that there’s more than one goldfish scene out there? *lol*

Kat, Goldfish scene? I’m hoping the goldfish wasn’t involved in a sexual way… that would just be too…. wrong.

If it’s the one I’m thinking of (LACE, a book and then a TV movie) then yeah, the goldfish scene was also a sex scene. An ORAL sex scene.
Enjoy trying to get THAT out of your brain. 🙂
