Jesus Christ !!!!!! Another Manchester United fan and a girlie as well.
Respect.
The lead is back to 9 points again now. Bring on the Battle Of Stamford Bridge : with a bit of luck we might be able to afford to lose that one but I’d love to go there in a position to go for the jugular.
OK – you can get back to your book reviews now but if you ever want to talk football you know where to find me.
Thanks for your comments on my blog also. Are you based in the States? How come you’re a Manchester United fan ?
Yep – shame about the Portsmouth game but I expected Chelsea to win that one. It was still sickening viewing in the pub last night (where I was busy demonstrating my lack of snooker skills).
Never mind ; the Arsenal v Chelsea game should be a bit of a problem for them particularly following the Carling Cup Final debacle here in Cardiff.
Incidentally – just to avoid any possible mis-understanding at any point in the future – I am not in any way at all connected with the world of writing, publishing or book reviewing.
Merlin, I can’t wait for the Arsenal, Chelsea game. For 90 minutes, I’m going to be an ardent Arsenal fan, which is saying a lot cuz I hate The Gunners with a passion.
I was born in Bradford but my grandfather lived in Manchester so I was raised on stories of the Busby Babes and the Munich Air Disaster (it almost broke his heart).
Then I watched his joy as United re-built the team (Law, Charlton and Best to name but a few)culminating in the European Cup win over Benefica.
I’ve been hooked ever since!
Yep – look forward to the Lille game. Talk to you again after the draw for the quarter finals (hopefully).
And yes – I know what goes on in the world of writing, publishing and reviewing as some of my friends are writers. This is why I mentioned my “non-involvement”. I intend to remain un-involved !!!!
And he’s right – Scholes never touched him but perhaps it’s that injustice that spurred them on to win the game.

I stayed up to watch this last night. Thought it was a good game. Man U took their chance when they had it, which Liverpool didn’t at all!

This might become relevant later on!
