British, black, and easy on the eye, what more could one ask for, woo, hoo!!

Hamilton led all the way in an incident filled race, which saw off many of the other race drivers, including Ferrari’s Felipe Massa, and Renault’s Giancarlo Fisichella, who were black flagged after they raced off, despite the red light still being on at the pit exit.

The worst incident of the race, occurred when Robert Kubica suffered a horrific head on collision, with the circuit wall. He’s reported to have a broken leg as a result of the crash.

This leaves Hamilton sitting at the top of the championship, leading his team mate, and last year’s Champion, Fernando Alonso, by eight clear points.

Is he good enough to go all the way? If he drives the way he has done during the first six GP races of his career, anything’s possible!

Dammit! We just got home from camping and I’m bloghopping while watching the race we DVR’d. That sure takes the suspense out. *g*

This guy really is something else isn’t he ?

I don’t usually take any interest in Formula One : it’s my lady friends favourite (and only) passion – except for me of course.

But this guy is amazing – all of a sudden I’m interested again.

I think it’ll be a year or two before we find out how good he really is but it’s good to have a great British driver again.

He’s not from Wyoming is he ?

No Doll, he isn’t from Wyoming, lol!

I reckon he’ll win the GP this season, I really do, and if he does, he should get Sports Personality of the Year, rather than it going to a horse rider or a flaming cricketer, or even God forbid a flipping sailor.

Can we say paint dry and grass grow?

Glad to see Hamilton finally get the top spot on the podium. But even so, to finish on the podium in every race of his F1 career is great! Hats off to him, and may he continue to succeed.

By the way, I heard that Kubica actually didn’t break his leg, but was rather sore after his wreck. I saw the footage and have to say that the designers and people who come up with those safety measure earned their wages yesterday. What a horrid looking wreck. (He is becoming a fave of mine, since I am of Polish descent.)

I was pleased that he won as well. He’s obviously a talented racer.

BTW, assuming that you’re watching Big Brother, what do you think of the whole “N” word thing?

Dawn, the N word drama thing was a little overblown, but I’m glad they threw her out anyway, between her and Charlie, they were giving me nosebleeds on a daily basis. I personally don’t think she was being racist though, she just thought she was being cool. Stupid bitch.
