I’ve heard lots of good things about Shana Abe, so I decided to buy a few of her books, including The Smoke Thief, and The Dream Thief.

I didn’t want to go for the obvious ones first, so I’m reading one of her other books, before drowning myself in Trilogy Hell.

Anyway, here’s the blurb for The Secret Swan, as found on her Website.

Sounds good jah? Anyway, so far so good.

This book does sound good. I hope we’ll get a review.

I just discovered this author a couple of months ago, and I’m in the process of collecting her backlist. I love the way she uses words–she knows how to be subtle without losing any lushness.

And Karen, you do know that The Smoke Thief is paranormal AND historical, right? *g*

Actually no Kat, I didn’t really read any of the reviews for it, just noted the grades, and figured that 1000 flies round shit can’t be all wrong.

I have faith, I can love paranormals, but they just have to be fantastically written. As for hystericals, well I’ve enjoyed them in the past too, much better than wolfies and vamps (with the obvious exception)
