Question….

Kendra Mei Chailyn posted a question on one of my earlier blog posts:

Does anyone know of an e-publisher that publishers sweet romance with some behind closed door scenes?

Seeing as I’m not a connoisseur of sweet romance, I thought I’d throw the question out there.

Anybody?

  • I’d suggest taking a look at:

    Belgrave House (http://www.belgravehouse.com)
    Regency Reads (http://www.regencyreads.com)
    Awe-Struck (http://www.awe-struck.net)
    Champagne Books (http://www.champagnebooks.com)

  • Cerridwen Press, Samhain has some, not sure who else.

  • I think Samhain will publish a story with sweet sex scenes. Shannon Stacey’s Forever Again was one of their launch books and it’s a beautiful love story with no sex scenes at all. I imagine if the author writes an awesome romance, they’ll buy it. Though this is just my opinion and she’d have to check with the publisher for their current guidelines. But I don’t believe full on sex scenes are required there. 🙂

Amber Quill Press has has been publishing “non-erotic” romance, in all categories, since they opened 5 or 6 years ago: http://amberquill.com

Are Hard Shell and Fictionworks still around? They used to publish a lot of romance also.

  • I have published sweet romance with Treble Heart Books (Mountainview division) and By Grace Publishing, who has a sister company that would consider off-camera love scenes. Go to bygracepublishing.com and link to Moonlit Romances.

  • The first place I thought of was The Wild Rose Press.

  • Thanks guys! And Marianne I would have sent to Wild Rose but I’ve never heard or seen them publishing an African American Story (even though they may have at some points I’m not sure).

  • I tried to answer but I guess it got caught by the system. If it doesn’t show, I’ll repost. 🙂
