This quote amuses me greatly:

“Appraisals are where you get together with your team leader and agree what an outstanding member of the team you are, how much your contribution has been valued, what massive potential you have and, in recognition of all this, would you mind having your salary halved.”

Theodore Roosevelt

This next quote rocks on a grand scale:

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Theodore Roosevelt

I love this last quote, and I felt it was especially relevant, considering what’s going on with the world at the moment.

Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind.

Theodore Roosevelt

  • I really like the last quote “Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind.” because it conveys it’s message so strongly but with such easy words.
