Hello, my name is azteclady, and I’m a Shiloh Walker fangirl (and no, I don’t need no stinkin’ program, thank you)

Fragile, by Shiloh Walker

Ms Walker’s latest print release, Fragile, is a mix of erotic romance and romantic suspense, and it succeeds beautifully in both subgenres. All too often erotic romances focus so much on the erotic part that the romance feels short-changed; not so with Fragile, at all. All the different elements are so well balanced that I have trouble trying to label this novel into any one subgenre.

Unless the label happens to be, “excellent” ‘cause then it’s easy.

Did anybody other than die-hard fans actually enjoy The Bruce Springsteen half-time show?

And that poor guy who just barely caught the guitar that he threw? Funniest damn thing since Todd Carty’s Dancing On Ice antics last week!

Poor Todd, jesus that was funny as hell.

snow-day001

So, the country came to a stop today just because of a little snow. Ok, maybe not so little, but still, how can a country like England not know how to deal with the white stuff? I wouldn’t mind, but we knew it was coming three days ago!

Anyhow, 1 in 5 people stayed off work today, costing employers over £1bn.

Personally, I found it was the perfect time to visit the post office, and do my big food shop. I was able to park across two car parking spaces, because the supermarket was so quiet. I was paranoid about women who can’t drive in the snow hitting my car, whilst attempting to park, which is why I selfishly used two parking spaces.

Yeah, yeah, I’m probably being a tad sexist, but having watched women with no spatial awareness whatsoever, have crunches in supermarket car parks for a number of years now, I thought it was better to be safe than sorry.

My final journey happened at 11pm tonight, when I drove over to my brother’s house to make sure everything was ok. They’re on hols at the mo, so I’m charged with looking after their property.

The snow was falling even heavier tonight, and I nearly got stuck up the hill, but I just about made it.

Anyhoo, I’m off to watch Lipstick Jungle now, after my big snow day.

G’night!
