And is it any good?

I’m in between books at the moment, trying to write a review for Courtney Milan’s rather splendid Unlocked. I’m finding it difficult to put down in words just how wonderful this book is, but at 99c from the Amazon Kindle Store, you’d be daft not to get it NOW.

It was sooo good! Funny how reviews for great books can be so much harder to write.

Sometimes when I’m blocked, I just jot down whatever my thoughts/feelings are without trying to make them sound good or hang together, and then see if I can work them into coherence.

What do you think of the cover, btw? It screams vampire to me, and I keep thinking she’s smoking. Good thing I don’t buy by covers?

  • I’ve never read Courtney Milan but I certainly recognize the name. I’m going over to Amazon and check out this book and see what it’s about. .99 at Amazon is a fabulous deal for readers not so fabulous for Courtney Milan I would think.

  • I’m reading FIELD OF BLOOD by Eric Wilson, because I promised him I would. It’s all right. So far, I like Eric and the stories he tells about writing the book better than I’m liking the book.

  • And the review is done! Man that was hard work, not quite as articulate as I would have liked, but at least it’s done!

@Angelia Is Field of Blood a vampire book or a crime book?

@Willaful I’m not fond of historical book covers so I tend to disregard them anyway.
