“Her son’s pregnancy had been a high risk one for her, and had nearly killed her.”

Is it just me, or is that sentence just…silly?

Did you perchance (like me) wonder what her son was doing getting pregnant? *g*

This by the way, was from a freebie book being offered by Phaze.

I’m currently trying to work out how many times I can mention Phaze on my blog before I’m accused of launching a witch hunt. *g*

Posted in: Excerpts that make you wanna say no

I just read an excerpt, where the heroine is in a witness protection programme, hiding away in a safe house, but for some inexplicable reason, she’s told her mother and sisters where she is, so they’ve sent her birthday cards.

I don’t think I’ll be buying the book.
