Do You Show Some Cleavage, Wear Mini-Skirts and Stilettos? Then You're A Slut.

Yeah, that’s right, you’re a slut. Well, according to this lovely Christian, God-fearing woman anyway.

She despairs of young Christian women being a bit too liberal in their choice of clothing, and she urges them to cover up, lest the young men leer at them and assume that they are all kinds of sluttish goodness, instead of the future leaders that they are.

I notice that she has no such expectations of the men, because after all, they are stupid creatures who find it impossible to control their very natural baser instincts.

The blogger writes:

“Women will be future leaders, too, and I was dismayed to see how many of them either looked frumpish or like two-bit whores. (more…)

This was in response to my post about breast-feeding older kids:

Breastfeeding has more benefits than the medical field is aware of. But if you want to know according to the “experts” breastfeeding lowers risks of getting all kinds of illnesses and diseases for both mother and child in the future. It can only make sense then that the more you do it the better it is for both.

For me, I cannot afford not to, I suffer with severe FMS and I have no doubt that at this stage had I not been doing this I would be in a much worse situation health wise, it is more than worth the effort. In this western world the real issue is all about image and some perverse thought that it looks bad, I think people who think that there is something wrong with breastfeeding at any age have this perverseness in them and they should be called petifiles instead of women who are doing the right thing having to deal with the perverse opinion of these people because I just can’t understand what other problem these people who even question whether it should be done or not have with it. And I wish there was some way of protecting the children from being exposed to this jading opinion to protect their innocence. We should be ENCOURAGED TO DO THIS NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN OURSELVES FOR GODS SAKE

Really Rita?

Got this earlier via another blog post on here:

Hi Ms. Karen,

I couldn’t find another place to contact you, so forgive me if this isn’t the correct way.

The owner of Red Rose Publishing, Wendi Felter has breached my contract and continues to have my books up on the Red Rose website. Per the contract, the required 90 days were over as of March 27, 2011 and all my contract has been through email and certified mail.

I wanted the readers out there to know that if you buy any of my titles at Red Rose Publishing, that the publisher is in breach of my author rights. She has no right to sell my books.

Thank you, Ms. Karen for letting me get my message out. I’ve posted a notice on my Facebook page and am about to post on my blog.

You are more than welcome to contact me should you have any questions.

All the best,
Tambra Kendall

Any comments Wendi?

fucktards

Warning, the following rant is full of bad words, so read on at your own risk

The decision by First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond, and Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill, to release the only person convicted for the Lockerbie bombing in 1988, has infuriated me no end. On grounds of compassionate fucking release? Are you fucking kidding me? There were 270 people killed in those attacks, where was the fucking compassion for them?

Alex Salmond is a fucktard

I believe that MacAskill’s and Salmond’s decision to release this evil man, was pure political posturing. He didn’t want to be seen to be kow-towing to US pressure, and so decided to release him despite the public outcry.

alex salmond

Kenny MacAskill is a wanker

I didn’t have any relatives on that plane, but I still have the overwhelming desire to go to Scotland and punch them both in the face for releasing that man. Due process my fucking arse.

At least according to one British, Labour MP (Member of Parliament).

Graham Stringer, MP for Blackley in Manchester, said it was “wicked” to label children as dyslexic because they were confused by bad teaching methods.

“The education establishment, rather than admit that their eclectic and incomplete methods for instruction are at fault, have invented a brain disorder called dyslexia,” Stringer wrote in a column for the Manchester Confidential website.

“Dyslexia is a cruel fiction. The sooner it is consigned to the same dustbin of history, the better.”…
Stringer said if dyslexia existed then countries such as Nicaragua and South Korea would not have nearly 100 percent literacy rates.

What an effing moron.

What. The. Fuck?

(CNN) — Authorities in Kansas are looking for a boy who disappeared about a decade ago, but was not reported missing until a few weeks ago.

“We don’t know what happened to Adam Herrman past ’99, when he was last seen,” Butler County Sheriff Craig Murphy said at a news conference in El Dorado.

“Is he alive, is he dead? That one I can’t answer because we don’t know,” he added.

Adam was 11 or 12 when he was last seen, Murphy said. At the time, he was living in a mobile home park in Towanda, a small town in southern Kansas, with his adoptive parents, Doug and Valerie Herrman. The couple did not report him missing, Murphy said.

A few weeks ago, a person notified Sedgwick County Exploited and Missing Children’s Unit of a “concern” regarding Adam, Murphy said.

The agency did not immediately return CNN’s phone call seeking additional information.

Wichita attorney Warner Eisenbise, who is representing Adam’s adoptive parents, said the couple “really rue the fact that they didn’t” report the boy missing.

“They feel very guilty” about not doing that, he said in a telephone interview. The couple told him the boy had run away frequently, he said, and they believed him to be either with his biological parents or homeless.

Although the Herrmans did not report him missing, “they were very worried about him,” he said.

Authorities have searched the Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park, where the family had lived, and discovered an “answer” to one of their questions, Murphy said, without explaining.

“We did find one of the answers we were looking for, but I am holding that one very tightly,” he said.

Eisenbise said authorities also executed a search warrant on December 15 at the Herrmans’ home in Derby, a town just outside of Wichita. They took the couple’s computer, he said.

Murphy said the couple is cooperating and had not been charged with anything.

Citing a relative, the Wichita Eagle reported the Herrmans had taken Adam into foster care and later adopted him.

Michelle Ponce of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services, which oversees adoption and foster care, said she could not release any details regard Adam’s case, and could confirm only that he had been in foster care at some point, but was no longer in foster care in 1999.

His adoptive parents felt guilty? Guilty? Erm, they fucking didn’t, or if they had, they’d have reported him missing to begin with.

The authorities gave this boy to a couple who didn’t have the sense to know that if a child goes missing, you need to report it? Nobody checked on him in all that time to see how he was doing?

I’ll say it again, What. The. Fuck?

So, either these people were two of the most stupidest people who have ever walked the earth, or they did something to that little boy.

I know which option I’m going with.

Thanks to Ann Bruce for the heads up.

I didn’t find the guy who threw the shoe at President Bush amusing in the slightest. I’m sure there will be Democrats all over the US, who think he got his just desserts, but I thought the so-called journalist who threw the shoes, was utterly pathetic. Fortunately for him, he was able to make his protest, without fear of torture and death hanging over his head.

I’m not a George Bush fan, far from it, but I don’t believe he’s an evil man. I think he fucked up royally, but I do believe he thought he was doing the best thing for his country, when he took you guys into war, just as I believe that Tony Blair thought he was doing the right thing also.

Dubya deserves to be verbally pilloried for his catastrophically bad political choices, but throwing shoes at him, says more about the dickhead journalist, than George Bush in my opinion. Besides, I suspect that the man just wanted to make a name for himself.

OK, who thinks he deserved to get the shoes thrown at him?

Unless of course you’re Elloras Cave.

I read over at Mrs Giggles’, that they’d had a make-over, so of course I went to have a nosy.

Well, I surfed in about six minutes ago, and I’m still waiting for the page to fully load.

Also, for some reason, the page URL is defaulting to Jasmine Jade Enterprises. According to Mrs Giggles, they may be trying to house EC, Lotus Circle, and Cerridwen Press all under one roof. I guess probably because Lotus and Cerridwen weren’t doing so great.

I like the new colours, but I’m hating the fact that there’s so much information on the home page. (Just re-checked the page, there’s just one item apparently left to load.) I’ve given myself a headache just trying to figure out what’s what.

I see that they have new and funky names for the different lines and sub-genres. Apparently ‘Aeon’ books are futuristic sci-fi. ‘Spectrum’ are gay and lesbian fiction, and ‘Moderne’ are contemps.

Surely keeping things simple would have been the best route to take? Changing the names to make them sound more interesting might seem like a good idea, but I’m guessing that most people would prefer a spade to be called a spade. I know I would.

Anyhoo, having just checked back, I’ve now got that yellow error thingy on the bottom left hand side of the page, so I guess it’s given up the ghost.

Balls to it, I have better things to do with my time. I’ll check back next week, by which time, EC should have ironed out the loading problems.

I bet their books are selling like hotcakes today. Not.

Sheesh.

Marcus, who over at Dear Author has said–and I quote, because it’s just mind boggling–all of the following:

Starting on comment 32:

If you absolutely feel that you have to buy some DRM-restricted ebooks then you should at least have the decency to crack it and upload it to some file sharing site, just to hasten the end of such anti-progress, anti-mankind shenanigans that DRM is.

Anti-mankind? Hyperbole much? But he continues (comment 68)

Think, please. If I make a copy of a chair I’m not stealing the chair, I’m copying it. See the difference? The same applies for ebooks. However, it’s not the ebook (or even the contents of it) that is claimed to be stolen, but the monopoly of copying it. However, after you’ve “stolen” the copyright you still don’t have the copyright, so the whole idea of “stealing copyright” doesn’t even make sense any which way you look at it. So, no matter how you try to look at it copyright infringement simply can’t be compared to “stealing” as the word commonly is used.

To which I asked,

Please. Copyright infringement is not stealing?Intellectual property is not property, then?

Talk about not having the same definition of decency, stealing, and a host other things.

and got this little gem from him (comment 72)

Exactly. No matter how many times I “steal” some copyright I’ll never have it, so it obviously can’t be taken and thus not stolen.

Not inherently, no. It’s “property” only because it has been redefined as such for some (but not all) legal purposes, but it’s not “property” in the same way as is understood by the common man. (E.g., you don’t pay any property tax on “intellectual property”.)

Well, then. Let’s chuck some laws out the window, and have authors work at something else for a living, since they can’t make money off their writing.

Or we could say that there are people who’ll claim anything, no matter how irrational, to justify their lack of ethics.

Either way, what a fucktard.

Do you remember this daft bird? Yeah, the one who A, couldn’t actually string two coherent sentences together, and B, couldn’t take criticism worth a damn, even though she asked for the critique in the first place.

Well, she’s threatening to sue me. Hey, it has to happen at least once a month, right? Anyway, apparently somebody released her from her straitjacket long enough for her to find a keyboard, and threaten me with legal action.

Okay, so now i am the butt of your joke. I take it then karen you’re another one who has not read my book yet? Question. Why is it you have chosen to be foul mouth about me in public? Can’t you do this in private like it was later stated in one the critiques comments had suggested. I will say this about your “so Called Mrs. Giggles” comments.

So I guess she’d prefer me to be ‘foulmouth about her’  in private? *g*

I think you ought to grow up and stop acting like a child, if you carry on like this there will be a law suit against you. I am one who does take critisim very well but having a person like yourself publicly trying to ridicule me is another thing entirely. Be sure to NOTE THIS YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER IF YOU GO ANY FURTHER WITH THIS NONE SENSE.

I wonder how old she is? I’d be surprised if she was over ten years old. She doesn’t seem very self-aware does she?  Hey, at least she spelt ‘lawyer’ correctly, right? That’s impressive, surely?

Anyway, she’s also quite keen to sue Capo, from C’um Hither Global:

Capo Have you had permission from Myself (Lisa Charlton) to any of the work i have done? Answer is that NO you haven’t. I am suing you for copy right theft.

Regards

Lisa Charlton

Say it with me folks, What. A. Fucktard.
